Good workout suggestions for being 9 months pregnant

I have worked out my whole pregnacy and now that im 9 months and things are getting harder, any suggestions?

  • do lunges..and will help you get ready for labor also..itll help your hips open up.. but dont do a lot that will strain your abs at this point... so even just upper arm workouts like tricep curls and stuff.. cuz yes during labor youll need your arms too...

  • Very gentle yoga- deep breathing (good for labor time), warrior pose (loosens/strengthens hips), etc. Like above, walking and lunges, squats, upper body toning. Nothing with a higher impact, and avoiding aerobic exercise would be a good idea. Lots of toning. Swimming is also a good exercise, as the water supports you and it has next to no impact on your joints.

  • Swimming is great exercise especially while pregnant if you can find a pool to workout in, and walking is good too. Have you looked around locally to see if they have any pregnancy exercise classes? It's a little late, but maybe you could get a one month membership.
