Soup Greens?

Ok.. so I went to the grocery store and picked up this bag of soup greens. I'm trying to eat healthier so I'm kind of new to the veggie department. Anyway its Celery, Carrots, Dill, Parsley, Leeks, Onion, Turnips, and Parsnips. What do I do with it? Do i need to peel any of these things or just cut them up? No bashers, I'm trying to lose weight and I could just use a little help, Thanks Ladies :)

  • Fresh or frozen? If frozen, they should be ready to dump in a pot and cook. If fresh, I have no idea without seeing them - all stores carry many different things and I've never heard of "soup greens".
