I am going to transition my son to a new room in the house with a big boy car bed and really want to decorate it so he loves the new change. We are giving his nursery to the second baby who is on the way. Is it a good idea to pick a favorite show like Backyardigans, etc? Or will this just phase out? Anyone been through this before? We just want this to be exciting or him so he enjoys the move and not resent it. Thanks everyone.Answer Question
My husband & I just got finished redecorating a room for our 3 yr old daughter & 4 yr old son to share & they love it. It was done in a way that the accessories could be changed very easily while not having to repaint and stuff. Maybe it would work for you. We only spent about $250.00 to do it!
Here's some pics... (If I added the link correctly)

It's a fleece blanket I found at walmart A while back. I'm actually looking for an ocean or fish themed comforter for the beds in this room, I just threw this blanket on his bed till I find what I want. I don't see that Walmart still has the same one, but I did find a couple others at walmart & Toys R Us. If you google The Cars Toddler comforter or something like that, you'll find a ton of choices for your son's room. Hope you find what you're looking for!
