  • we always do a veggie garden, we are not much for flowers. We plant anything we can eat, tomatoes, carrots cabbage, cucumbers, onions, peppers, celery, strawberries, ect, ect. o and we plant sunflowers and harvest the seeds for birds in the winter. Its a lot of fun, our kids LOVE to get in the garden!

  • Maybe - if I can find a good way to keep the deer out. Planning tomatoes, spinach, onions and I have one spot left that I haven't decided yet.

  • We're planning our garden already, too. So far this year we've decided to do corn, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, bulb onions, broccoli, zucchinni, radishes, baby lettuces, bunching oninons, garlic, asparagus, eggplant, cucumbers, pumpkins and kohlrabi. I already have a large strawberry bed and we have some fruit trees, so that stuff, too. I'm still on the fence for peppers because they haven't done well the last couple of years and, although I got two small watermelon last year, I'm not sure if I'm going to make room for it this year because it's just been too cool during the growing season for it to do well.

  • Hopefully this year we can do a garden if I can catch that pesky groundhog that ruined mine last year! We tried to plant pole beans, corn, zucchini, greens and tomatoes. This year I want to add peppers and broccoli.

  • Yes! Got my seed catalog last week so we're looking. Potatoes are a must, green beans, possibly some sugar snap peas, lettuce, spinach, sweet corn, kholrabi, carrots, maybe a few tomatoes & cukes but not likely, hopefully my rhubarb comes back (just planted it last year)...not sure what else, there are a few things I'm trying to talk the hubby into that he's not so keen on at this point in time (melons, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries). Our garden is huge to me, about 40x100 feet. Last year we had almost 90 potato plants.
