I am trying to compile a shopping list to stock up my house. Basic pantry goods. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

  • Gravy packets, dry soup mixes, dry bread mixes (corn bread/muffins), canned/dry beans, pastas, pancake mix, peanut butter, tea, kool aid, flour and corn tortillas/pita bread, rice, tomato sauce/paste, cream of soups, instant dry milk (I use it only for cooking), bread crumbs, crackers

  • Before you do this, you need to plan out meals and snacks for the next couple of week.
    Off the top of my head, we usually buy: lentils, assorted beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, squashes, yogurt, cheese, whole grain bread, whole wheat tortillas, onions, garlic, ginger, bananas, grapefruit, oranges or clemintines, frozen blueberries, tofu, brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal, assorted frozen vegetables: chopped spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, corn, etc.; whole wheat pastry flour, succanat, corn meal, assorted spices (cumin, oregano, sea salt, cayenne); mushrooms, salad dressing, ???
