Does anyone else feel this????

DH and I just made love. I'm not exactly sure how, but some how we started talking about food and sex. Particularly whipped cream and chocolate sauce. All I could think of was EWWW! Hairy chocolate sauce? Gross. Then he brings up Herve Villechaize. He’s the dwarf on Fantasy Island. Apparently, his wife LOVED to poor chocolate sauce on him. Gross!!!

DH is like that. He friggin knows everything and remembers everything unless it has anything to do that is relevant to our lives right now. Anyway, we start to laugh about chocolate covered hairy dwarves. Then I ask, “Where are my glasses?” He says, “I don’t know where are mine?” Then, at the same time we both say, “Have you seem my teeth?”

Are there any other women out there who can relate? Have you been with your DH long enough, and truly can’t imagine life without him? Is he so a part of you that things like this are just funny and comfortable?

  • I laughed because I can so see my DH and I doing the same thing. One of the best things about being married is being so off the wall and he gets it.

  • Hub's and I have been together 15 years. It's to the point now where I swear we communicate telepathically lol. And yes we still have really funny stupid conversations about stuff like this.

  • OP here - Telepathically? We are always completing each other's sentences. We've actually held entire conversations with half sentences that on looks think are just plain weird.

  • "Awww...youre so in love~! "

I know. I am. Almost 10 years and we really still are. As much as he annoys me sometimes, I can't imagine being without him.

  • i think we'll be like that in a few short years, there have been a few similar incidents. But we're definitely on that road.

  • Wowie! What a story. I hope that at some point in the future my dh an I can discuss chocolate covered dwarfs, lost glasses and where the heck we lost our teeth too right after we make passionate love and then I can come on CM and brag how great we have it. Sorry but I find your story too full of info.

  • 17 years here and it is freaky. I will be thinking about something and dh will say something about what I was just thinking. It's almost frightening!! And it might be something totally random, but I will have something on my mind and he will comment about that very same thing. It is awesome and freaky all at once :) I totally cant' imagine my life without him at all...although he does annoy me at times too :)
