How painful is a breast biopsy? How do they do it? expensive?

  • Yes it is expensive. Most insurance companies will cover the cost of it. My step mom had to get it done and she told me that it hurt. You can look up how the procedure is done.

  • I had a core breast biopsy done about 4 months ago. The procedure itself was not painful. However, my breast was sore for several days afterwards, and it did get bruised a little. The most discomfort I experienced was trying to sleep the first few nights. Mt insurance covered the procedure. Feel free to ask me any questions.
