his poop is green..???

it seems like every time my son comes home from his dads house his poop is green. obviously it was because of something he ate, but would it have to be something green? cuz when i think of green, i think vegetables. and i know my son won't eat them. when i ask his father what he ate he doesn't tell me anything different than what i feed him. so im thinking maybe its something he ate at his other grandparents house. so i guess my question is what could he have eaten to make his poop green??

  • Could be salads, (maybe he eats everything at dad's to impress). Maybe something he drinks, kool aid, gatorade, juice, etc? Ask his dad or grandparents what he eats. Good luck.

  • My child has colored poop when she has kool aid or cake icing at parties (things with food coloring in them). It doesn't necessarily have to be green food or drink, blue coloring apparently breaks down into green or reacts with something else in there somewhere. My dd had green poop from a blue cupcake. Don't worry. :)

  • Purple popscicles have done that to my 3-year-old! Anything with blue food coloring can.

  • With my daughter, it happens from blueberries.

What strategies are you using to get your son to eat vegetables? Send me a message offlist if you need some suggestions.
