  • put down $0, got 100% financing thinking that we would refinance in a year, but now our house is worth $250,000 less than when we bought it and we're stuck paying over $7000/month for this stupid house. purchase price was like $780,000 i think (we bought a new house)

  • We paid $225,000 and put down $55,000. We have a 15 year loan at $1422 a month plus $200 in taxes and $40.50 for HOA dues. Our loan term ends in 13 years, but I pay extra each month and I'm hoping to pay it off in the next 5-8 years.
