im looking for a healthy cooking oil.

hey ladies, so i went to grocery store to pick out a healthy cooking oil and i was reading the labels and i couldn't find much of a difference except $5 ! can anyone help me here? I dont mind spending the money i just want to get the healthiest one. Thanks =)

  • well the one i use is canolla oil (its a healthy cooking oil) it has less fat then the other products.

  • I use the extra virgin oil. It comes in a small bottle so it does cost a bit more.

  • I also use extra virgin olive oil - - Unlike other cooking oils, the fat in olive oil is considered "good" fat (so is canola oil, btw), unlike vegetable oil, which is made from saturated fats.

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil is suppose to be the best and healthiest. I use it at home and I love it. I think it makes the food tastes better too.

  • It depends on how you are planning on using it. Evoo has great flavour and is healthy, but doesn't stand up well to high heat. So you'll want to take that into consideration.

  • I primarily use extra virgin olive oil, but I also keep Crisco Puritan Canola Oil with Omega-3 DHA for backup and for baking when oil is called into the recipe.

  • I use mostly the extra virgin olive oil. I have canola oil I use sometimes but not often.
