question about breastfeeding?

how long did it take u to get your milk to come in after the baby was born? I mean come in all the way? thanks?

  • do you mean for it to turn white? it took me about 3 weeks. and I agree 100% with the ice in a diaper thing, it is painful

  • I came in the day after she was born it was sooooooo painful, get a diaper with ice in it. It helps so much.

  • with my first born it took a litle of almost a week. and true painful but worth it. if you can take the little pain and just be patient w/ breastfeeding.

  • mine came in the day after he was born which shocked the whole hospital cause he was in the nicu and not near me. I had an over supply of milk through my whole nursing experience lol I could feed five kids if I needed to!

  • I don't remember. It just happened. I was never in pain from it at all, so I have nothing to mark the occasion.

  • Sometime day three or four, but I never had any pain other than sore nipples because we had some latch difficulties.
