Should I get married just for the wedding?

I'm divorced so marriage doesn't mean anything to me. It's just a piece of paper. But I didn't get a wedding and I really want one. My boyfriend doesn't care either way.

  • So what you're telling us is you want the dress, presents, etc but that the piece of paper is garbage? In that case NO don't get married. If you want a wedding because you're commiting yourself to the love of your life and that piece of paper means you're commiting to each other forever then go ahead.

  • Have a commitment ceremony. You can dress pretty, invite friends and celebrate your love without the legal aspect of it.
