Where or whom should I seek to find out the value of older china tea cups?

I was just given some older 40-50+ yrs old china tea cups, but have no idea of their value. Would an antique dealer be the place to start?

  • I would google them! Especially if you have a name, pattern, makers mark or any identifying info

  • Replacements.com is good indicator of how much you should insure them for, as it's how much it would cost to replace them. If you're looking for how much you could get for them if you sold them you can call them and ask how much they'd buy them for. It's in their FAQ.
