Do you put little gloves or socks over your newborns hands to prevent them from scratching their face? IF so, how long did you do that for?

  • I used them with my little guy until he started pulling them off consistently in his sleep. Then I figured there really wasn't a point anymore. I just make sure I keep up on the trimming and filing of his fingernails.

  • I tried but my DD hated them, so she never really had them...

  • I tried but she really hated it.

I found the best way to trim her nails instead of those damn clippers that always cut her because she wouldn't hold still was to just bit them off. I know it sounds weird but it worked.

  • i used to bite my daughters nails too! it made me feel safer than using the nail trimmers.and it didnt bother her at all. i used the hand socks for a while tho, because she was born in jan, and i wanted to keep her warm.
