Does anyone know what happens to your body after you drink a soda?

Heard some unusual stuff about what happens after you drink a soda, especially a coke. Has anyone else heard anything?

  • Rapid doses of sugar can cause your blood vessels to constrict and impede blood flow over the body and brain. The acids can cause GI problems. The rapid peak in blood sugar can strain the pancreas. Caffeine can cause blood pressure changes, even vision changes.

    That's why it's junk food.

  • Yeah, there's lots of crappy things that do/can happen. All depends if you're drinking regular or diet too though. Different things happen with each one.
