I would strongly advise people to do a little research on the organization before donating so we don't have a repeat of the tsunami rip off. Charitableness is a wonderful thing but NOT if its not getting to the people who need it. So please go to charity navigator and make sure any organization you donate to is in fact providing relief to Haiti.
Operation USA is one of them.
Red Cross has also pledged over 200,000 so far.
Care is another organization confirmed to be in the trenches.
