People irritating when talking about baby development

Anyone else get frustrated by ppl's reactions to their baby's "slower" progress with things such as crawlingg or sitting up? My son seems so strong but hes almost 10 months and still not crawling yet real took him a long time to sit up as well. ppl say oh hes such a big boy he should be doing this and that....i feel that in the end he will be up there with all the babys who pooped on the potty at 6 months but just needed to vent!

  • Its okay. My niece is 14 months old and she doesn't crawl or walk. She scoots on her butt though. Its sooooo funny and cute. My sister jokes about putting pads on her and letting her clean the floors. She also doesn't like to pull herself up to stand. All babies are different.

  • My youngest son never crawled. He went straight to pulling himself up and started walking. Blow them off. It isn't their kid or their business.

  • Ignore them, people will always find a way to stick there nose were it don't belong, my 13 month old didn't crawl till almost 11 months, every baby grows and develops different.

  • Crawling is not a developmental milestone; many babies never crawl.
