Can you use mouthwash while pregnant?

I am going into my 3rd trimester if that makes any difference or not.

  • My dentist says to just gargle with warm salt water and not use mouthwash even when not pregnant.

  • yup in fact my ob recommended it, I puked the whole time so it was important to kill the bad bacteria. Many mommies don't realize how important oral hygiene is when you're pregnant. Gum diseases can impact your unborn baby.

  • Yes just dont put in in your back door and gargle it...that makes a mess ;)
