Whats a "bump"?

what does it mean when someone writes "bump" or puts a bump widget on your post?

  • In groups, it's a way to put that post back at the top of the list, or at least on the first page of posts. It does not work here in the answer section, but people put it anyway. It makes me giggle.

  • Hi,

    When you view a group's forum, posts are listed in the order of when the last reply was added.

    When someone posts "bump" in a reply to a post, they are bringing the whole thread to the top of the group so more people will see it.
