  • You are describing Braxton Hicks contractions. Named after the scientist who first discovered them, Braxton Hicks contractions are typically painless and short, lasting only a minute or two. They can occur throughout your pregnancy, but typically strengthen in the last trimester. They tend to occur irregularly, and though uncomfortable, they shouldn't drive you completely crazy

  • If I were you, I'd call my doctor. If it's a "period-like" feeling, you need to let your Dr. know.

  • Call your dr or your hospital's labor and delivery. Any time you feel a true period like cramp it's not just Braxton Hicks.

  • Could be braxton hicks but if it were me I would call my dr. This is your baby's health you are talking about.
