My 1 year old is shivering like he's cold - it's been going on in spurts thru out the day. He's getting sick - has a runny nose and congestion, and is breaking teeth. He also hasn't pooped yet today which he normally has sometimes twice by now. Is his little system just messed up? He's acting fine - jabbering and it doesn't seem to phase him. ????

  • I would keep a beanie on his head if he lets you put it on him to keep him warm. Remember, the head is the "thermostat" for our body. I would just make sure he is not overheated, and give him so ibuprofen (as directed) or tylenol. Make sure he rests. If he not better, I would call the ped.
