  • you might. my midwife always delivers babies in sets of 3 and around full moons. i had lots of braxton hicks during full moons but honestly i couldn't tell you if my kids were born during full moons or not, i was too busy to notice =)
    good luck!

  • Yes, I've read in numerous places that it does. Think about it. The moon controls tides(water). Your body is 80% water and your belly is fully of water (well, amniotic fluid, obviously). You are actually more likely to break your bag of waters during this time and thus deliver. Many women also menstruate to the moon cycles. 28 days in a moon cycle, 28 days in a usual menstrual cycle. This was much more common back when us women "lived under the stars" and were much more connected to the moon. Nowadays, most people pay no mind to the moon and as a result we've lost this. It's a toss-up and GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BIRTH!! I hope it's everything you are hoping for and that it's a very rewarding experience!
