Cleaning a whirlpool tub ~

Any tips on how the easiest and safest way too clean the jets in a whirpool tub?

  • They sell a cleaner for jets at our local Lowes, I'm sure you could find it at any local store that deals in jetted tubs. It works well, in between I use vinegar to get rid of the hard water, and it's not hard on the jets.

  • What I have always done is fill the tub with some water, add a cup of bleach, run the jets for a few minutes, let it soak for an hour or two, run the jets for a few more minutes, drain the tub, refill with water without bleach, run the jets again, and drain. I did not know there was a special cleaner. I will look into that for next time.
