I admire people who...

Currently I am reading Beyond the Birds and the Bees by Gregory K Popcok and it has helped me realize that not ony is living by example is important in nurturing our children's character, but dialogue is significant as well. To get to know our children's personalities better, and to remain close to them as they grow (currently 9, 6 & 4 years old now), DH & I found an activity in the book The Big Book Of Family Gatherings we bought a few years ago. Samples of Family Talk/Dialogue Starters that are in the book we wrote down on papers, folded into squares and put in a bowl as the centerpiece of our dining table. Everyone will grab one and we will talk about it during dinner. Doesn't that sound fun?

One of the samples for a conversation starter is "I admire people who..."

I think my answer will be... "are honest and act with integrity."

What is your answer???
