ive had a vaginal piercing for about 1yr now. in june i will be delivering my son by csection, will i need it removed for that???

  • Most likely. You're usually forced to remove all jewelry before surgery.

  • yup its gonna have to come out. no jewelry. i even had to take off my wedding ring, its for your safety.

  • Yes you'll have to take it out. I had to take mine out. I never put it back in because I couldn't physically do it after the surgery and I didn't ask anyone else to do it for me.
    They even made me take off a hemp necklace without any metal on it.
    You can't wear nail polish or make up or jewelry. Here anyways. I'm sure it's a general hospital standard though.
