Union scratches Obama's back, Obama scratches theirs... in case you've been distracted...

but didn't he campaign on no special interests buying the white house?

"Big Labor got some big love from President Obama and congressional Democrats yesterday after they agreed to exempt union workers from the whopping “Cadillac tax” on high-cost health-care plans until 2018.

The sweetheart deal, hammered out behind closed doors, will save union employees at least $60 billion over the years involved, while others won't be as lucky -- they'll have to cough up almost $90 billion.

"

Translation - union employees will be tax exempt while non-union employees will make up their share. Union employees' vision and dental will always be exempt, nobody else's will. They are also offsetting this by taxing even MORE money from medical devices. Hearing aids, prosthetics, dentures, prices on all will go up.

  • Great. Unions get breaks, everyone else pays more. Even the socialists on here have to object to this.

  • It makes me sick too. One more promise broken. And I find it terrifying that everything is going to hinge on one man. I really do hope and pray that he wins.

Good! Of course part of me thinks I shouldn't say anything, as I might jinx things! You know, don't draw any attention to the situation, and just let it quietly happen?! LOL :o)
