Just for Military dependants

Do military dependants have to get the Immunizations because your spouse is in the military...??

  • The only time we have been required to get the same immunizations is before going overseas. When we went to Turkey there were a few we had to get that were not standard but other than that, the military member is the only one required to get anthrax, small pox, H1N1 and all those. Hope this helps. Oh, if you end up using child care on base then all children are required to be up to date on all vax.

  • Like the others have said, stateside they dont make you. Overseas you will have to get immunizations. Even just for travelling abroad as a civilian its recommended that you get certain vaccines. Which ones depends on where you will be going.
