When do you stop "wanting to eat your kids up"?

Like my daughter is 4 & I could just eat her up. I want to kiss & hug all over her cute little self. When does this end? Surelt it does some time because I am sure my mom doesn't want to eat me up at 32 now!

  • My dd is 8 and it happens less often now but I still get that feeling and have to get ahold of those kissable cheeks!

  • Aaaawwwwwww!! Well, I think it varies... There are times I feel the SAME way about my nearly 3 year old. Other times, I want him to be in another room before I loose it! I am SO happy to hear you love and adore her so much tho!

  • I have moments with all my girls like that. :) they're 8, 6 and 3.

they'll always be my babies - I'll just be lovey in different ways.

  • Great question! I've been wondering the same thing! My 2 year old just keeps getting cuter and I want to kiss and hug and squish him all the time. I keep thinking at some point, he'll get so big I don't want to! I'm guessing the age is probably 8ish.

I used to teach 2nd grade and then later 4th grade. My 2nd graders were SO cute still. 4th graders? Not so much. So I'm thinking 8ish is about when it happens. I've got about 6 more years with my little one!
