  • Teatree oil will get rid of it the quickest. you can also use Lamisil. it is a fungus, not a parasite. try to keep it dry, it will spread quickly in moisture. using teatree 3x day should get rid of it in just a few days.

  • doctor should perscrib an ointment.. ( my sd had it once ) i also used clear nail polish..helps dry it out. (really works and even her doc said that was good ) also wash bedding clothing u dont want to reinfect, and no baths with anyone..and wash your hands after dealing with it my sd had it on her leg and her bm was giving sd and her sister baths together which doc said no no. also thet were sharing pj's which again was a no no.

  • yeah.. lotrimin or lamisil.. make sure you continue using it even after the rash is gone, because it can come back.. you can look up info on the net, or just take your kid to the doc.. they can give you a prescription cream and instructions to follow..
i'm pretty sure it's just a kind of yeast infection...

  • Relax. It's a fungus infection and looks worse than it is. Often, it will resolve on its own. Athlete's foot treatments will help. Try to keep the area dry (if it's in an area where the skin folds or tends to get sweaty. A quick google search found info at the Mayo clinic's website ( My family has a dairy - we got it from the calves when we were kids. :-)
