  • At your next appointment see if your doctor will strip your membranes, then do the walking and sex. It worked for me. Other than that all I know is walking and having sex. Someone told me eating spicy food worked but it only gave me heartburn. Good Luck!!

  • Walk walk, sex, spicy food, scoot on your butt in the indian sitting position, you can also go to the chiropractor or acupuncturist to help with onset, if the baby isn't ready non of these will work so you may have to relax and be patient, also ultrasound weight guessing is often very wrong so your baby may not weigh near that much. Good luck.

  • None of that is true sex, walking, spicey food etc. etc. maybe someone ate spicey food, had sex or walked and there baby came but it's not cuz they did that it's only cuz the baby was ready to come out, let nature do it's thing, trying to induce labor on your own will only put stress on you and the baby, best thing to do is just sit down put your legs up and relax cuz you have some hours of labor coming up a brand new baby and a lot of sleepless nights, you need all the rest you can get, good luck and congrats momma.

  • Ok sex works IF and only IF you have several orgasms! (internal not clitoral stimuli) Also, these things will only work if the baby is within 72 hours of making an appearance anyways. You can try getting a prenatal massage and let the masseuse know you would like for him/her to try to put you into labor (again, only works if you are close to going into labor) I will tell you that the pressure points that will put you into labor are VERY uncomfortable. Imagine pressing very hard on a bruise, say on your shinbone or something. That's what it feels like, though the pressure points are in the fleshy part of your hand, base of your spine, and the bone of your heel. GL!

  • nipple stimulation works if you do it right. but it can raise the babys heart rate. so i wouldnt recomend it. but like i said if you do it right it will work. just be careful. when i did it it was under the supervision of my midwife.

  • nothing. baby isn't ready, that's why baby isn't here. u/s are NOT accurate at determining the weight. it can be off as much as 5 lbs. i just read where someone said that they were told they were going to have a 9lb baby, and at birth it weighed 5 lbs. be patient. get as much rest as you can now. let baby come when baby is ready.

  • okay really you should'nt try to induce labor until 40 weeks but i know your pain. i have PUPS, and have been throwing up like crazy so i am ready for this baby to come as well but i am only 36 so cant do anything. but anyways back to your question.
1.)sex (your orgasim can release oxytocin, and his semen helps your cervix)
    2.)walking (for like miles)
3.)castor oil (but can be unsafe because baby can pass bowl)
    4.)spicy food/or pinnaple
5.)Nipple stimulation ( use hand or pump, do one at a time each 5 min in length, then rest for 15 min then go again and do this until contractions are regualr)
6.)black/blue cohosh(these are both herbs so i wouldnt recomend but blue makes contractions stronget, while black helps regulate them.)
