2 yr old and a bad cough...need some new ideas to help..plz!!

my two yr old has a cold...runny nose, fever, cough....

Im giving him tylenol for the fever and main problem is the cough.

I've tried elevating his bed, honey to soothe the cough/throat, steam..but nothing is helping and its keeping him from sleeping for long.

he has been drinking plenty of fluids, not eating much but crackers.

  • Besides the humidifier, fresh lemons always soothe the throat and help clear the mucous membranes.

  • My daughter used to get terrible coughs like this for years and then we found out she was allergic to milk of all things. Who knew a food allergy could cause cold-like symptoms? Took her off milk 2 yrs ago and she hasn't had 1 cold/cough since!
