At what age did your daughter start developing breast buds?

My 8 yr. old daughter has been complaining about her breasts hurting and I've just noticed that the fatty tissue of the breasts is starting to pooch out. Is that normal at her age?

  • Conventional meat and dairy is loaded with hormones that bring on early puberty. It is not longer unusual for girls to begin menstruation as young as eight.

  • I was lucky. My daughter didn't star developing breasts until 12 1/2. She started her period at 13. She's a skinny girl, and I was also a late bloomer. Many of her friends needed bras by 4th grade.

  • it's normal for her!

don't worry. kids are developing earlier than they were 50 years ago.

if they're sore get her checked out by the doc

    good luck :)
