Toddler nausea

My son is throwing up but has no fever or any other side affects. I want to give him some peppermint extract but how much do I mix in the water and how much water for a 2 y/o?

  • Peppermint tea would be better. At this point you don't want to overdo it - a teaspoon of water every 15 minutes is the most you want to give after vomiting. As long as it stays down, you can add more every hour or so.

  • Peppermint is a decongestant; I would give him chamomile tea
