  • We have donated through them in the past, I went to their web site, but be aware that you will be getting phone calls and letters from them asking for donations for years. I finally got the phone calls to stop, but we still get letters asking for donations even though I have written to them and asked for the letters to stop and also spoken on the phone with them and asked them to stop. In addition, shortly after we donated through them, we started getting donation requests from other organizations, so they obviously sold or shared our address and information.

  • If you don't want to get on their mailing lists, donate in cash through your own parish. Our entire diocese sponsored second collections for Haiti yesterday. Additionally, our parish is having a special mass and prayer vigil one night this week where they will also collect for Haitian relief. Call the secretary in your parish office and ask if there are any special collections going on.
