does clove oil REALLY help a killer toothache???

My wisdom tooth is killing me. Im ready to pull it out myself! Does clove oil really help or is it a myth? And if it really works how do I use it?

  • Ive done it and it did help but its not a permanent solution. The clove oil will help for a bit but the pain is a symptom of a more serious issue. If your tooth hurts that bad, why not go have it pulled or at least checked?

  • A dentist will tell you to use it so there must be some truth to it. I'd also take Motrin to get the inflammation down.
