  • It's pretty hard to get a false positive. The chemical in the test strip will only react to the HCG hormone.

  • like anony243 said -doctor- a physical exam plus blood test early on is usual first confirmation then abdomen growth and kicks and ultraounds if needed.

  • Take another one. Dont read it after the 10 min limit. Chances are its correct anyhow. No false postives.

  • The longer the urine's in you is the more accurate a home tests. That's why its suggested first morning urine - most women pee less during nights than days. So it builds up overnight to be most high in amount in pee for morning testing.
