Whats the best breast milk storage containers?

I'm wanting to start pumping my milk so I can give it to my DD in a sippy cup,
I need something freezer and travel friendly, size of storage isn't a big issue, also need it to not alter the flavor or scent of my milk, I can't afford to go buying up the stores to try them out, any suggestions please?

  • We were told by the lactation consultant to use ziplock snack bags. You can fit quite a few of those into one large ziplock bag to keep them from getting freezer burn. I was told by the LC that you can store breast milk up to three months that way. I used that method, and it worked great. I would measure it out before putting into the storage bag and mark on the bag how much there was. That made it easier when DH needed to feed our little girl.
It is cheap and cost effective. The best part is that when you warm them up, all you have to do is place them under hot running water until you get it the temp you want. Works great!!! Good luck to you.
