how do you get rid of a yeast infection in the breast.

went to the doctor have been given creams and oral pills. am still breast feeding but has had it for 7 weeks.

  • Grapefruit Seed Extract. Dilute as the bottle indicates, rub on nipples several time a day. Won't hurt to drink some water with a few drops of GSE in it either. This was the ONLY thing that worked for us. Gentian violet, 2 kinds of prescriptions, 4 over the counter meds -- NOTHING but GSE worked.

  • Get a good (refrigerated) probiotic powder. Sprinkle in on your breasts before nursing (it won't hurt the baby). After nursing, rub breast milk on your nipples, let them air dry, and sprinkle more probiotic powder on them.
