My daughter is 9 months old, 22.5 lbs. I'm looking to purchase a car seat that is rear-facing and converts to forward-facing. I purchased a Graco Nautilus but just realized that it is only forward-facing. SO, I'm looking for a good car seat that isn't too expensive and is rated high for weight. Let me know what you think!

If you've got the Nautilus to forward face when the time comes, you can get away with something as simple as a Scenera for RF, and then switch to the Nautilus. Scenera's RF to 35lbs and FF to 40. If you're returning the Nautilus and looking for something comparable, but to use RF and FF, I suggest the True Fit. I have one and love it.
