When I ate or drink, how long does it take to get to baby?

Every time and only when I eat...sometimes when I drink, I notice within a few minutes 10-15 maybe that baby gets hiccups. Is she just gobbeling everything up or is this just a massive coincidence?

  • Yeah I believe it is between 15 to 45 minutes depending on what it was. It is faster than our usual metabolism because we are pregnant. IF I eat sweets about 15 mins later my baby starts getting hyper and kicks a lot more.

  • a baby inside you doesn't actually "eat". They just get nutrition from the umbilical cord!

  • Babies dont eat when you are pregnant. I doubt the hiccups are because of you eating. My daughter had them every hour.
