Our God is An Awesome God

How many have been noticing how the hatian survivors give glory to God for their lives when they emerge out of the rubble? Disbelieving people, who have gambled that by now survivors are not expected, are saying in amazement that their “minds are boggled on how anyone can survive for 6 days without food or water; completely lucid and thanking God they are alive” because science tells them that it is basically impossible for people to survive this long without food or water. But with God all things are possible and that is what these people come out of the concrete mess saying: “I thank God because I am still alive.”

  • Our God is an awesome God! They cannot thank the us president because he’s too busy campaigning to get his Nazi health bill passed. They cannot thank the united nations because they are deliberately holding things up. They cannot thank the hatian government because there is none. They cannot thank their hatian voodoo-hoodoo priests or priestesses because they are all dead, or running scared. They cannot thank their fellow hatians because they are running amok like animals and fouling their nests. They can only thank God because God has protected them, and sustained them while others wring hands and wonder why, why, why. God has not let them down. Praise God!

  • You are talking about the same god that (according to your beliefs) caused the earthquake that entombed these people in the first place, right?

    Awesome?  Really? WOW!

  • Why do people want to attribute natural disasters to God? Satan is the prince of this sin-cursed world. He seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. God has brought life out of the rubble and He will work even this tragic event for the good.

    Yes, our God is awesome!

  • Yes, you believe it is your "awesome" god that saved those few people. But, what about the thousands that have died? Why didn't he save them? Why only the "chosed few"? This is what I don't understand.

  • Everybody goes at some time it was just their time to be with God in heaven. Why is it that people don't want to believe in God or have anything to do with him until something happens and then the point the finger of blame?

  • It's too funny how people who claim there is no God blame Him for every thing that happens on this planet. How about the nature lovers blaming their Mother Nature for going through her PMS phase and causing havoc in a tantrum? Or how about blaming earth for burping to forcefully? Nope. They have to blame God, while the survivors praise Him. They can’t stand to give God credit for anything.

  • No one is pointing the finger of blame. Christians just seem so inconsistent with their credit of god and what he does.

And this is the biggest crock of crap ever. If someone told me this about my loved ones I"d slap them in the face. How insensitive!!!

  • God saved those who trusted He would save them. If you don't believe in God who’s to blame if He doesn't run to your rescue?
