  • There is no law that i ever heard of that prohibits siblings of different sex from sharing a room. I'd like someone to show me a link.

  • What the social services are willing to supply does not make law, because there are people all over the US --and most of the rest of the world-- who can't afford one more bedroom. Many people can't afford the first one, so they sleep in the living space (and/or car). None of these people are breaking the law.

  • I've heard there is laws and then I've heard there isn't so I'm not exactly sure. It would be very hard for them to enforce though unless a problem arose from it.

  • Well, in France when one of the kids is older than 12 they have to have seperate rooms. It is the law. There are inspectors and everything

  • not sure the law, but at that age i would think they would be safe to share a room (bunk beds?). however, i would think that in the next few years, it would be time to get seperate bedrooms. however, i have heard that there is a law, but i don't know what it is either.
