if you you have customers or clients that you and your co-workers give secret nic-names to?

we have an Elvis..because the guy has long side burns.

we also have the 2 dolla family because there are 6 family members so when we see them coming we all cringe and say "here comes the 2 dolla family"...(they only tip 2 bucks, no matter how nice you are and who waits on them)

we have the perves...i don't think i have to explain their name.

we have "the bus"...this mexican family that pulls in a van with about 12 fam members...very bad tippers as well..they only leave 5 dollars.

anybody else have any...or are we the only ones giving people nic names?

  • I agree on the tipping- it is part of going out, if you can not tip-do carry out or stay home. When we are feeling broke and want to eat out-we do carry out!

I am a teacher and we have knick names for some of our parents- they can be funny or a compliment. We have Buff Mom, Hot Mom and even Red Dress Mom that always wears the same red dress(sometimes we call her the devil in a red dress). Yes, we can be immature-but you know when you see the same people over and over and they have something that strikes you-you notice. Just human nature I think!

  • Yes, people do this. I think it's mean. That family that only tips a little? It's probably what they can afford to tip. Or perhaps the service is never that good.

  • if thats all they can afford they should stay home...they came in there the other day with their passports because they are going on vacation to mexico...i also saw them in the same night that they came in one day eating at a mexican diner. So they have plenty of money to go out...and i'm sure its from being so cheap. They dont tip and they get a community coke!

  • "if thats all they can afford they should stay home"

Yep. You definitely qualify as mean. As if you know ANYTHING about these people's lives. As if your perspective is the ONLY perspective. They should stay home? Perhaps you should find another line of work.

  • well i am mean and you are a saint so if you are going to judge my "mean-ness"..i don't want to hear it...i know other people do it...and thats what i wanted to if others do it...not your crap, so go away.
