  • Bottle if bottle fed, diapers, wipes, fresh outfit, or two. Doctor's phone number. Something to lay the baby on to change them- say a receiving blanket- since sometimes there isn't a changing table, and you probably don't want to put the baby right on one of those anyway unless you disinfect it first.

  • I always took, a minimum of 6 diapers, wipes in a travel case, changing pad, 3 recieving blankets, a bottle and a paci as well as a lovey, and 2 clean outfits and a bag to put the dirty ones in.

  • I breastfeed and cloth diaper so at two months I brought my baby wrap, 3 prefold diapers plus 1 for every hour I'm out and a fresh diaper cover. 5 cloth wipes in a baggie. Cloth bag for the dirties. 1 flannel blanket that I use as a change pad too. 1 or 2 flats/burp cloths. (i never needed an extra outfit as I never have a blowout with these diapers)

Now at 4 months I include1 toy. If I need extra out fits or layers later I will keep 1 or 2 least favorites in the trunk. No need to carry them all the time.

  • We always took those rtd glass bottles with extra nipples, 1 extra outfit, an aspirator, hand sanitizer, travel size lysol, 1 burp cloth, 1 blanket, 4-8 diapers depending on how long we were going to be gone, travel case of wipes, 2 binkis each, a changing pad (that came with the diaper bag) a ziplock bag for anything dirty or gross, and if we were going somewhere that we needed to walk alot (the grocery store or mall) we took the stroller.\

If you breastfeed or baby wear, I would take a wrap and a cover.
