  • Jackson was about 5 weeks old (born July 3 09, picture taken early August). They started out kinda funny, but he got the hang of it soon enough, lol

  • Cute pic! Well, personally I think my DD#2 is already smiling, but she is only like 3 weeks old...lol, I just think they are real becaus eit is always when we a re looking at her and talking to her...every baby is different.

  • Babies can smile from day 1. The more you smile at them the more likely they are going to mimic it and smile back. By three to four weeks babies have enough awareness to imitate smiles as soon as they see them. As they get better they begin to initiate smiles by smiling more often spontaneously.

  • Our third child smiled his first day. He's been the happiest kid. Everyone argues with us about this, but we both saw it. He was smiling.
