is this common for stomach bugs?

my son, 21 m/o, just got over a bug. he had it for a few days, but these past couple days he's been much better. His appetite came back, he had more solid poop and no more vomiting (he never had a fever or loss of energy). well this morning, his diaper was so terrible I gave him a shower. And he doesnt have much of an appetite (only thing he accepted while sick was milk, same with this morning). is it common for bugs to creep back?

  • Sometimes nasty poops are just their body's way of cleaning out any remaining traces of the virus from their systems.
