2 month old losing hair

So my two month old baby boy is losing his hair when he was born he had a full head of hair but now on the sides theres almost no hair n the back of his head is thinning is this normal? has anyone else had this problem? as u can imagine this is my first baby

  • how do you expect the new hair to come in, if he still has his old hair. Let's hope he doesn't get cradle cap.

  • It's normal. We called my son "Patchy" when he only had a patch of dark hair left in the back. It came in blonde.

  • It will do that on the side the baby sleeps the most on usually. But as all these mothers previously said it's perfectly normal. Welcome to parenting...it's a fun job. :)

  • It's normal. Since they cannot lift their head, the hair is rubbed off from them moving it against their cradle. It'll grow back, don't worry.
