Elizabeth Kathleen or Elizabeth Helen?

am due with a daughter in 3 weeks. We've decided on Elizabeth for a first name. Trying to decide on the middle name.

My middle name is Kathleen and it seems to flow. It has meaning since it's part of my name.

Helen was the name of my husband's grandmother AND my grandmother. It has meaning too!

Thoughts? Which sounds best?

  • I like Elizabeth Kathleen better than Elizabeth Helen because of the flowing sound when speaking Elizabeth Kalthleen

I sure do get the connection to Kathleen and also Helen -both pretty absolutely.

Elizabeth Helen I'd like better to give it an umpf with Elizabeth Helene (pronounced Hayleen could also be spelled Heleen for easier pronounciation)

WHATEver name you choose for Baby will fit her just fine - it's fun to think but once chosen whatever it is the baby will be her name without any doubt.

    Congratulations!!!!!

  • I'm partial to the first, but that could just be because it's my mother's middle name and my middle name
