when did yours stop waking up at night for a bottle?

mine is completely eating regular food, no formula or baby jars. He has quite a few teeth, drinks milk and juice. Going to be 15 months soon. Such a good baby boy, but he still wakes up 2 if not more times a night for a bottle of juice or milk....???

  • Mine stopped waking up to breastfeed at 2 months. They all slept from at least 11 until 7. By 6 months they were sleeping from 7am-7pm or 8am-8pm.

  • On September 23rd :) The night we finally moved in with hubby (he had been in BMT). So, 8 days shy of 3 months old he stopped waking in the middle of the night.

  • I stopped giving them a bottle in the night when they hit a year old - at any age it's bad, but when you keep doing it after a year it just gets harder and harder. If he thinks he has to have a bottle, nothing but water. You'd be better off giving him a sippy of water in his bed, and if he can't soothe himself back to sleep after a few sips then just stand there and pat his back. He's only doing it out of habit, not out of need, Breaking the habit is the first step, by tossing the bottle altogether. Sippy only. Water only.

  • With my older son 11 months, my almost 6 month old still wakes every 1.5 hours to nurse.

  • um, mine stopped waking for bottles, around 8 months CIO only though. after trying numerous other methods. then slept through the night for months, then started waking again about 15 months, then about 7 weeks ago started waking up again.. he just turned 2 in Nov. so even if your Little one stops waking for a bottle, they go through spurts of waking most of the time for some other unknown!!

  • My son stopped at 7 weeks. That's when he started sleeping 10-6. And then at 5 months started sleeping 12+ hours and at 17 months is still doing that.

  • my son still has nights where he might wake up once or twice, but goes right back to sleep. i never stopped offering the breast at night when he needed it, but i think he stopped waking up every night around 1 yr.
