is it a sin

to covet prayers? LOL Someone online in another forum was asking for peoples prayers and she wrote that she "covets" everyone's prayers.

I just thought is sounded funny:)

  • I think she was being funny so no its not a sin. It is a sin to covet something, but I'm not sure why you would be jealous of other peoples prayers..

  • she was basically saying she cherishes, treasures your prayers. I highly doubt she was being funny. I am not sure she used the right word to say what she meant because the dictionary says this.
